This striking mid-century West German ceramic jug vase is a bold and sculptural example of classic 1960s–1970s design. Standing an impressive 45cm tall, the piece features a richly glazed deep green finish with a highly tactile geometric relief pattern that wraps around the body and handle. Produced in West Germany during the height of the Fat Lava movement, this jug is clearly marked on the base W. Germany 416-45, confirming its authenticity and period. The glossy glaze pools beautifully within the raised pattern, creating depth, contrast and visual interest from every angle.
