A striking pair of vintage mid-century blue glass vases by Ravenhead Glass, beautifully sculptural in form and rich in colour.
Each vase measures 17cm high x 6cm wide and features a heavily textured bark-effect surface, creating a tactile, organic silhouette that captures and refracts the light beautifully. The soft cobalt blue tone deepens towards the base, giving a subtle ombré effect typical of mid-century pressed glass design.
Produced by Ravenhead during the height of British mid-century glassmaking, these vases reflect the era’s fascination with texture, architectural form and sculptural simplicity. Their hexagonal rim and irregular vertical patterning make them equally suited to displaying single stems or styled as standalone decorative objects.
