Vintage Denby Arabesque Vase – Mid Century Studio Pottery Stoneware Vase 27cm

A beautifully tactile and characterful vintage Denby Arabesque vase, dating to the late 1960s / early 1970s and designed by Gill Pemberton. This iconic British studio pottery piece showcases the unmistakable Arabesque pattern, with its repeating circular motifs in warm earthy tones of ochre, brown and deep charcoal.

Standing at 27cm high, with a 9cm wide top and 10cm base, the vase has a pleasing, gently flared form that works equally well as a statement standalone piece or styled with dried stems. The rich glaze and hand-applied decoration give each example a unique depth and texture, typical of Denby’s craftsmanship.
