A striking vintage Scheurich West German floor vase, model 289-41, dating to the 1960s–1970s. This tall mid-century statement piece features Scheurich’s iconic textured relief bands with a rich chocolate brown and white drip glaze. The repeating geometric motifs and glossy finish embody classic West German “Fat Lava” era design.
Standing 41cm tall and 16cm wide, this substantial ceramic vase makes a bold standalone floor vase or large decorative vessel for dried stems and pampas grass. The base is impressed “289-41 W. Germany” and retains its original Scheurich label.
A superb example of German art pottery — perfect for collectors of West German ceramics, mid-century interiors, and retro-inspired spaces.
